A Very Royal Visit

A Very Royal Visit

In a surprise appearance at Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, the Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate, turned a spotlight on the city's vibrant social scene, with an emphasis on the Interactive Darts experience at The Rectory's 180 Club. The royals showcased their sporting prowess by immersing themselves into the game and some healthy competition. Katherine was commended for her very solid" throwing action as she stepped up to the oche and hit her target successfully.

501 Fun's games are designed to be accessible for beginners and provide that all-important dopamine rush when your throw is successful - and this was a great example of that experience being delivered for (possibly) the most high-profile guests to have used 501 Fun's technology.

The royal couple's exploration of The Rectory's 180 Club kicked off with a conversation between Kate and marketing agency worker Chris Van Den Broek. As they delved into the intricacies of Birmingham's creative industry, the stage was set for William and Chris to take on the 501 Fun-powered oche, drawing cheers from onlookers and adding to the excitement of the interactive darts spectacle.

Chris Van Den Broek, a senior account manager hailing from the Netherlands, shared his excitement about Kate's keen interest in Birmingham's "can-do attitude" and her ability to connect with the city's dynamic creative sector.

Robert Wood, owner of Lucky 7 bar nearby, expressed gratitude for the royal couple's interest in the creative arts.

The trend of competitive socializing is rapidly gaining popularity in Birmingham, poised to surpass Leeds and become the third city in the country, after London and Manchester, with the highest number of social entertainment operators.

William and Kate bid farewell to The Rectory amid a crowd of hundreds of excited well-wishers.
