As a family-run company, we are deeply committed to placing people, communities, and the environment at the heart of our operations. This Corporate Social Responsibility (“CSR”) statement outlines our dedication to fostering positive social and environmental impacts.

-
Youth Sponsorships. We sponsor young people in squash locally, empowering the next generation and fostering community engagement.
-
Industry Leadership. Through pioneering advancements like the accessible oche, we set a benchmark for inclusivity and encourage broader social impact across the entertainment sector.
Environmental Sustainability

Recyclable Packaging. We prioritise recycled and recyclable materials for packaging, avoiding plastic wherever possible. We actively encourage suppliers to adopt sustainable packaging practices.
-
Our fleet includes hybrid and electric vehicles, and we are committed to achieving carbon neutral transport. While electric vehicles play a key role in reducing emissions, we remain open to emerging low-carbon technologies that may offer equally or more sustainable solutions in the future.
-
Environmental Goals. We strive to minimise our carbon footprint by pursuing a carbon neutral transport strategy, reducing waste across our operations, and increasing the use of sustainable materials in our packaging. Our environmental approach is informed by innovation, practicality, and long-term impact.
Employee Wellbeing and Development
-
We support the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our employees through wellness programs, resources, and a culture that values work-life balance.
-
Equality and Diversity. We are committed to equal opportunities for all. Our equal opportunities policy ensures no job applicant, employee, or worker is discriminated against on the grounds of race, colour, ethnic or national origin, religious belief, political opinion or affiliation, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, age, or disability. Recruitment decisions are informed by non-discriminatory job descriptions and specifications. We also provide training to mitigate unconscious bias and maintain a whistleblowing policy to support confidential reporting of concerns.
-
Employee Satisfaction. We measure satisfaction through probationary reviews for new joiners and annual performance reviews, providing opportunities for feedback and reflection.
-
Professional Growth and Volunteering. We invest in our people through training programs, mentorship opportunities, and access to online learning platforms. Our employee handbook outlines support for volunteering initiatives, and we consider leave requests for volunteering commitments.
Health & Safety
-
Compliance. We fully comply with all relevant health and safety legislation and regularly review our procedures to ensure best practices are maintained.
-
Prevention First. Risk assessments are conducted regularly to identify potential hazards, and proactive measures are taken to prevent accidents or injuries.
-
All staff receive appropriate health and safety training tailored to their roles, and we promote a culture where everyone is encouraged to speak up about safety concerns.
-
Customer Sites. We expect our clients to maintain safe environments for our team members. Where risks are identified, we reserve the right to withdraw our staff or suspend services until safety can be assured.
-
Wellbeing Integration. We recognise the close link between health and wellbeing. Our approach to safety includes mental and emotional health, promoting a supportive and responsive working culture.
Ethical Practices
-
Integrity. We operate with transparency and fairness, ensuring ethical practices in all aspects of our business, including supply chain and customer relations.
-
Confidentiality and Data Protection. We are committed to the highest standards of data privacy and confidentiality. Our business practices are fully aligned with privacy requirements, both in the UK and internationally. We have invested significantly in ensuring our systems, platforms, and processes adhere to GDPR best practices, with robust protocols in place to protect the privacy of all individuals whose data we process.
-
Fair trade. We are committed to fair trade principles throughout our supply chain. This means working only with suppliers and partners who uphold responsible labour practices, pay fair wages, and operate with respect for human rights and environmental standards. We assess suppliers regularly to ensure alignment with our ethical sourcing values.
-

Last updated: June 2025
501 Entertainment Ltd. (“501”) is committed to treating all workers with respect and dignity, ensuring healthy and safe working conditions, and conducting environmentally responsible and ethical operations. 501 expects these same commitments from its suppliers, vendors, staffing partners, contractors, subcontractors, and sub-tier suppliers (“Suppliers”). This Code of Conduct (the “Code”) sets out how we operate and establishes expectations for our Suppliers to do the same. These expectations are derived from and respect internationally recognised standards and frameworks, including the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. The Code applies to all Suppliers of goods and services to 501. We expect our Suppliers to adhere to this Code and require their own suppliers, vendors and contractors to, at a minimum, adhere to the same standards in their operations and across their supply chains.
In addition to the responsibilities outlined in this Code, Suppliers must comply with all applicable laws, including, but not limited to, immigration and labour laws, legal regulations, environmental, health and safety laws, trade and sanction regulations, directives, and guidelines. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate our relationship with any Supplier that fails to meet their responsibilities under this Code or applicable laws.
Suppliers must notify 501 immediately if they become aware of any potential or actual breach of (any part of) this Code within their operations.
1. Human Rights and Labour Standards
501 is committed to upholding internationally recognised human rights and fair labour practices across its supply chain. We expect our suppliers and partners to share this commitment and to embed these standards within their own operations and value chains.

-
Allow workers the freedom to associate and collectively bargain without interference.
-
Prohibit any form of forced, bonded, indentured or prison labour.
-
Ensure that no child labour is used. The minimum employment age must comply with local laws and be no lower than 15 years.
-
Provide working hours, rest periods, and wages in accordance with applicable labour laws.
2. Modern Slavery Prevention
501 has zero tolerance for modern slavery and human trafficking in its operations and supply chains. We are committed to complying with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 as well as similar rules and regulations throughout the world, and we require the same commitment from our suppliers.
501 and Suppliers ensure to:
-
Implement controls to ensure no modern slavery exists in their business or their supply chains.
-
Maintain transparent recruitment practices and employment terms that are freely agreed and clearly communicated.
-
Ensure no worker is forced to hand over identity documents, deposits, or endure recruitment fees.
-
Conduct their own due diligence on suppliers and labour agencies.
3. Anti-Discrimination and Harassment
501 expects all Suppliers to treat workers fairly and with dignity, fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace.
501 and Suppliers ensure to:
-
Provide a workplace free from discrimination, harassment, bullying, and victimisation.
-
Not discriminate in hiring, promotion, compensation, or termination based on age, disability, gender reassignment, marital status, pregnancy, race, religion, sex, or sexual orientation, in line with the UK Equality Act 2010 and similar rules and regulations throughout the world.
-
Take proactive steps to prevent and address harassment or inappropriate behaviour.
-
Have clear policies and grievance mechanisms in place for reporting discrimination or harassment, and take appropriate actions when issues arise.
501 is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment that protects all workers and complies with relevant health and safety regulations.
501 and Suppliers ensure to:
-
Comply with all applicable health and safety laws in the countries in which they operate.

501 is committed to ethical business practices and compliance with the UK Bribery Act 2010 and similar rules and regulations throughout the world. We expect our Suppliers to maintain the same high standards.

-
Maintain accurate books and records that reflect all transactions.
-
Ensure any gifts, hospitality or expenses are reasonable, transparent, and not intended to influence business decisions.
